One of my most convinced leitmotifs returns also in my photography:

All life is Rhytmic

Like my earlier work in paintings it's also in my photography an important topic. For me it's still going about the everlasting and transient moments.

It is easily forgotten that besides the transient moments in daily life, also in architecture and design, the processes are liable to continual developing.

Today we need comfort, open interiors, different light conditions and the visual connection to the outside.

Our well being is related to the outside and it is influenced by the built environment and gardening. I love that, because the light we need to live is also important for the connection with these buildings, or houses, or other kind of structures out or inside.

I prefer black and white in my photography, but I need the colors of life. I'm aware of this contradiction, but black & white means to me, a direct contact with the feeling of my subconsciousness. I feel the real emotion in black & white with more intensity, but the colors of nature embrace my daily life. That's why I prefer to show sometimes these colors in my photography. I can't ignore them, because these natural colors are the basement of life and nature.

As a young girl I was introduced to photography by my father. He ran a dark room at our home in Amsterdam, where I was born. I accompanied him every time and I was fascinating about the magic of the fixing baths and all that technology of photography. Nowadays I'm schooled in photography and in the future I will specialized and develop in analog photography again.
